Hannibal King attacks Blade in retaliation for Blade killing him in the last issue. While both Hannibal and Frank Drake try to deal with memories from the past, Blade uses the "Edge of Intrados" to help him relive his past; In doing so, Blade finds a bit of hope that he can cling to and focus on. D.O.A. (Hydra's Department of Occult Armaments) show up at Suze Harlow's grave to get some vampire DNA from her body; They don't realize that the vampire that killed Suze was none other than Dracula.

The Nightstalkers use "Linda" to destroy Stonecold's skin, which had been terrorizing people. Later, they are given a job looking into a problem at the local prison; When they get there almost everybody is dead, and the ones that are left appear to have gone crazy; They run into Short Circuit, one of Lilith's grandchildren who was executed (eloctrocuted), leaving only the demon behind. Frank shoots him with "Linda", which just makes him more powerful.

The Nightstalkers think they have won when the Lilin are pulled back into their own dimension, but Dr. Strange tells them that Zarathos and The Fallen are an even bigger threat; The Nightstalkers are tired of cleaning up what they feel is The Nine's screw-ups and leave, which allows Zarathos to beat John Blaze, Ghost Rider, Vengeance and Dr. Strange; He then takes Caretaker underground and the Nightstalkers go after him. In a pitched battle Frank Drake overloads "Linda" and blows up one of the underground caverns with him in it; Hannibal King goes to get the others for help and Blade goes back after Frank. The story continues from Ghost Rider/Blaze: Spirits of Vengeance (1992 series) #17 and in Ghost Rider (1990 series) #45.

When the Nightstalkers try to stop Shiv and his coven from finishing their sacrificial rites Shiv manages to escape; He then kills Beth and Benny Casim and burns Adam Casim horribly before Blade can stop him. To keep from blowing their cover as Borderline Investigative Services the Nightstalkers allow both Shiv and Adam Casim to be taken to the hospital; The Punisher visits Adam Casim there and vows to punish Shiv, who has escaped from custody while being transported to prison in an ambulance after his surgery.

When Johann Bessler (Stonecold) sacrifices two people to his "perpetual motion machine" in an effort to get his humanity back it backfires by attracting the attention of the Ghost Rider; He goes to the Nightstalkers for help, and after a small skirmish convinces them to help him; Together they destroy the machine but Stonecold escapes when Frank Drake freezes because of a vision of a demonic, bloody Blade from the future.
