Namor awakens on an operating table in the Stalker's ship and listens to him gloat about his plan to rob the Earth of its precious oceans; Namor learns that Triton is also being held captive and frees him; Together, they battle through the Stalker's troops and prevent the Stalker from bringing about the Earth's doom; They're returned to Earth, but Namor discovers that the aliens have operated on his gills and they no longer allow him to breath underwater; Triton promises to return the trident to Atlantis.

Triton and Stingray meet each other as they investigate a ship that was apparently sunken by Atlanteans in the name of Namor; Namor, also interested in this ship, confronts them and a misunderstanding leads to a battle; Attuma, who set the trap, catches them off guard and captures them; Attuma is using human prisoners and a captured Atlantean scientist to burrow underneath Manhattan in hopes of launching a surprise assault; Namor, Stingray, and Triton free themselves and overwhelm Attuma and bring an end to his scheme.
