Polybagged with 16-page bonus preview of the Spider-Man cartoon series, plus a full color animation cel art print (one of six in the series). "Typhoid Attack" Part 1 of 2. Script by Ann Nocenti. Pencils by James Fry. Inks by Sal Buscema and Rodney Ramos. Cover by Joe Madureira and Cam Smith. On assignment for the Daily Bugle, Peter Parker photographs a bloody crime scene inside a rundown motel. While the police are investigating the murder, Peter notices a fraught and homeless young woman named Mary in the room. Apparently she witnessed the crime and is now suffering an emotional breakdown. Feeling sympathetic towards Mary, Aunt May's nephew invites her to have dinner at his home. That sounds like a wonderful idea, provided that Mary isn't some kind of crazy serial killer or something! Oh no! Can the web-slinger retract that invitation? Unfortunately, it's too late by the time Mary Jane answers the door…and Typhoid Mary walks in! Will the spectacular one be able to contain the typhoid outbreak…before it becomes a bloody (Mary) mess? (Note: The polybagged version includes an animation cel (6-1/2 x 10) featuring Peter Parker changing into his costume; and also a 16-page insert titled "Work in Progress" which details the making of the Spider-Man animated series for television.) 32 pages
