It was a lucrative occupation, but without retirement benefits, so he arranged his own retirement benefits via the Drug Enforcement Agency.

In part 1 of "Aliens: Cargo," he discovers that such a plan definitely has a down side. Also, in part 3 of "The Thing from Another World: Questionable Research," the scientific team aboard the Donachek discovers that their research really can get the best of them. What can you do when your experiment has its own hidden and horrifying agenda?
