The Beetle's plan to bust Boomerang out of prison fails due to the intervention of Spider-Man and Code: Blue! So now the Sinister Syndicate must wait until Boomerang's trial to make another attempt! In the meantime Fred Myers (aka Boomerang) solicits the help of Leila Davis and the Kingpin to gain his freedom! But the Kingpin rigs Myers' trial to ensure a conviction!
