The Crossing is over, but Force Works has suffered irreparable damage. The team's founder is dead and FW's headquarters lies in near ruins. Wanda, Julia, Century, and the agent try to pick up the pieces and move forward. And the first order of business is figuring out what to do with Cybermancer! She's actually Suzy Endo from 15 years in the future! And the second item on the agenda is deactivating Kang's leftover time-gate! But what if a couple of Cybermancer's colleagues (from the future) attempted to rescue her through the time-gate? And what if they looked a lot like Ultron and Wonder Man? Uh-oh! In the blink of an eye, the adamantium robot and Simon Williams appear from the future and attack! Will Force Works end up in ruins...just like their building?
