Just as the new Geomancer, Clay McHenry, is beginning to learn what being a Geomancer is all about, he must face Master Darque's elementals. Can Clay hide the Book of Geomancers before the evil elementals get their hands on it? Also, since events in The Chaos Effect make it unlikely Darque is involved with this caper, it's up to the Geomancer to discover who is behind the reappearance of the elementals.
