Scythe continues his rampage while Gravestone recovers at Protectors headquarters; He then appears at Christine's apartment, knowing Scythe will be there soon; Gravestone takes Christine to his underground hideaway; While playing Mozart on an organ, she awakes and hypnotically removes his mask; As he screams at her, Scythe arrives, and Christine realizes ther are 2 Gravestones, the one protecting her and the one responsible for many gruesome murders; Using one of his many collected mystical artifacts in his cave, Gravestone reveals the Head of Medusa to Scythe, transforming him into stone.
