Story continues from Avengers (1996 2nd series) #13. The Heroes Reborn Universe and the Wildstorm Universe have merged! And to safely separate the two realities, the dimensional lock holding them together must be destroyed! So to that end, Mr. Fantastic guides the Avengers and Stormwatch toward the Nexus of Realities in the Negative Zone! However along the way, they run into the Skrulls and Daemonites plus Annihilus and Defile! Meanwhile inside the FF's headquarters, another group of heroes stands guard at the entrance to the Negative Zone! And they are very happy when Iron Man joins them! But sometimes appearances can be deceiving!
