Charlton's horror anthology featured art by Wally Wood protege Wayne Howard and linking stories starring Arachne and her mentor, Professor Coffin. A sentient green blob helps a wizard and a king achieve their ends, in a story with art by horror comics legend Tom Sutton. Sludge is featured in a story by E-Man co-creators Nicola Cuti and Joe Staton, as all the stories in this issue fit the theme: "Ooze; Goo; Sludge; Muck."
