Seeking to exploit that power is Pain, the right-hand corpse of Desire from the pages of The Sandman, who has decided that Case would make the perfect tool for his apocalyptic purposes.

Written by John Ney Rieber, each issue of Mythos is illustrated by different artists. Issue #1 features the art of Gary Amaro and Peter Gross. Painted covers for all three issues are by Rick Berry.
