Otaku no Video 1982 - 1985 (1991)
Otaku no Video (1991) is a two-part Gainax OVA that combines animation with live-action mockumentary segments to tell the semi-autobiographical story of how the studio was founded. It follows Ken Kubo, an average college student who becomes obsessed with anime/manga and rises to become the "Otaking".
