Training under Spylocke's vicious tutelage, young Obadiah Konishi begins to develop the abilities that have lain dormant in the nanites in his blood. By communing with the Blood of Heroes, he gains the powers wielded by his predecessors, Bloodshot and Rai, as well as discovering his own Harbinger talents. At last, Obadiah is ready to accept the title of 'Rai.' But he soon learns, however, that his foster brother Takashi also claims to be Rai. Thus setting the stage for a bloody showdown -- Rai against Rai...brother against brother. This issue ties in with Magnus Robot Fighter (1991 Valiant) #42.
