This issue is a retelling of Kraven's first appearance and first battle vs. the web-slinger in the classic Amazing Spider-Man 15. The story is told from three perspectives: Kraven's, the Chameleon's, and a young Peter Parker's. Cameo appearances by Aunt May, Flash Thompson, Liz Allan, Betty Brant, and J. Jonah Jameson.
