Reprints issue #20 of Space Adventures (1952 1st series), based in turn on the comics adaptation of the 1950 George Pal film Destination Moon, inspired by Robert Heinleins Rocket Ship Galileo. Scientist Charles Cargreaves and military man General Thayer are determined to put an American rocket on the Moon, before any other nation can beat them to it. And that means they have to build and launch in secret, before the government can stop them.
