Story continues from Web of Spider-Man 121. The three-way battle among the Scarlet Spider, Kaine, and the Grim Hunter erupts on the streets of New York City! Ben Reilly falls first and can only watch as Kaine and Kraven's son trade powerful blows! The fighting temporarily halts after the Grim Hunter blasts Kaine with his energy spear! However later on in Central Park, the three combatants come together again! Where one man will walk away the winner. And another man will live to fight another day. But the third man will bear the deadly mark of Kaine! Cameo appearances by Seward Trainer and Gregor. (Note: The Grim Hunter returns many years later in Amazing Spider-Man (1998 2nd series) 634.)
