The Big O (1999) Complete set

The Big O is a 1999 atmospheric "tech-noir" mecha anime following Roger Smith, a top negotiator in the memory-wiped Paradigm City. Aided by his android companion Dorothy and butler Norman, Roger pilots the massive Big O to fight threats—often forgotten relics known as Megadeus—while uncovering the dark, philosophical secrets of his "City of Amnesia".

Created by designer Keiichi Sato and director Kazuyoshi Katayama for Sunrise. The writing staff was assembled by the series' head writer, Chiaki J. Konaka, who is known for his work on Serial Experiments Lain and Hellsing.
