The owl, in Japanese folklore, is a sign of evil and an omen of death. In "The Lord of Owls," Usagi crosses paths with a mysterious samurai with a lightning sword . . . and who can foresee one's death. In a second story, Kagemaru plots to usurp Chizu as the leader of the Neko Ninja Clan by revealing her traitorous actions to Lord Hebi. Hebi is later attacked in an assassination attempt, but Kagemaru comes to his rescue -- or does he?
