Story continues from Avengers Annual 14. After their epic adventure in the Andromeda Galaxy, the Avengers finally return to their Fifth Avenue Mansion. However, according to Jarvis the mansion had a visitor while they were gone...the Beyonder! One thing leads to another…and the shield-slinger and the Wasp confront the Beyonder in the nation's capital; and the next day Hercules and the Black Knight battle him at Project Pegasus! The Avengers can't beat the Beyonder, so they're going to ask him to join them. Really? A very interesting approach! Meanwhile after destroying Sanctuary II, Starfox announces his departure from the Avengers in order to pursue Nebula across the universe. Cameo appearance by Firelord.
